Join us. **Job Description** -------------------------- **AECOM is seeking a Cost Estimator I (MEP) to work in its offices in Lima, Peru.** **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** * Soliciting quotations from local and international suppliers. * Evaluating and comparing received bids. * Performing quantity takeoff from models. * Estimating quantities for associated line items. * Estimating quantities for calculated line items. * Preparing corresponding quantity calculation memoranda. * Supporting the development of unit price analyses. * Supporting the preparation of reports and documentation related to construction cost estimation. **Requirements** -------------- **Minimum Requirements:** * Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer, or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or education. * Experience in construction cost estimation and quantity measurement for MEP disciplines in infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with construction cost estimation software is preferred. * Basic knowledge of Revit for quantity extraction from models. **Additional Information** ------------------------- **Desired Qualifications** * Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineer with more than one year of specific experience in construction cost estimation and quantity measurement for MEP disciplines in infrastructure projects.
