Job Description Mission: Collaborate and support projects carried out by your unit/department, in accordance with guidelines provided by your supervisor, to execute assigned tasks required to meet project needs. They are responsible for defining and establishing the necessary strategy for Operations Services, maximizing company performance—with particular emphasis on customer relationships—and aligning activities and projects within their area with the needs and services demanded by internal customers. They are responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on auxiliary machinery and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities remain in good operational condition. Perform general maintenance work and maintenance of automation elements for services. Candidate Requirements ACCIONA’s WATER business is currently seeking a Resident Engineer for new corrective maintenance contracts. Responsibilities: Comprehensively manage (request, scheduling, control, execution, and evaluation) all tasks assigned by the Client, ensuring delivery of an efficient and high-quality service. Establish procedures for coordinating and responding to work orders related to preventive, predictive, and evaluative maintenance activities for Drinking Water and Sewerage Systems, in accordance with Client requirements and at the site of operations. Ensure, through requisition and follow-up of warehouse orders, that stock levels of materials, equipment, tools, and various supplies are maintained to sustain process operability and enable immediate response to preventive service activities. Ensure implementation of the preventive and/or corrective maintenance plan for equipment, machinery, vehicles, and tools to guarantee their proper operation. Monitor, analyze, approve, and report monthly valuations and technical reports on completed activities to Coordination. Monitor, analyze, approve, and report weekly staff work schedules and incentive plans to Coordination, while maintaining appropriate headcount to perform daily tasks. Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate third-party contracted services, verifying strict compliance with the signed contract and reporting both fulfillments and breaches. Maintain continuous communication with Supervisors and Operational Staff, holding periodic meetings to implement necessary corrective and/or preventive measures regarding issues affecting goal achievement, as well as to identify improvements across various processes. Requirements: Licensed Sanitary Engineer, Fluid Mechanics Engineer, Civil Engineer, or equivalent (e.g., Civil Engineering with specialization in Roads, Canals, and Ports), duly registered and authorized to practice.
