At **GyA Construcciones**, a Peruvian company specializing in the design, engineering, construction, installation, and maintenance of networks, we are seeking an **SSOMA Manager** for operations with TECSUR, with the following profile: ***REQUIREMENTS:*** * **MANDATORY**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Industrial, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering. * Preferably registered with the Professional Association of Civil, Environmental, Industrial, Electronics, or Electrical Engineers. * Driver’s license preferred. * **MANDATORY**: Completion of Safety and Health Training for Critical Work (electrical work, work at height, load lifting, excavation). * Solid knowledge of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental legislation. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel proficiency. * **Minimum 3 years’ experience** in this position and/or related functions. * Preference given to candidates with prior experience working for companies providing services to TECSUR, LUZ DEL SUR, ENEL, or other electricity-sector enterprises. * Full-time availability. * Experience preparing investigation meeting minutes. * Knowledge of IPER matrix development. * Willingness to work and travel between two locations: Ate and Villa El Salvador. ***FUNCTIONS:*** * Conduct field inspections at worksites. * Inspect fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, vehicles, personal protective equipment (PPE), and electrical equipment (e.g., rotary hammers, cutting machines, generators). * Verify compliance with preventive programs and carry out assigned risk control and reduction activities. * Deliver daily safety training talks to workers. * Promote, in general terms, occupational prevention and integration within the company. * Identify and assess risks of occupational accidents and diseases. * Supervise and promote worker safety and health, fostering activities aimed at preventing accidents and illnesses. * Comply with current legislation on occupational safety, environment, and health, avoiding legal consequences arising from noncompliance. * Supervise the effective implementation of the SSOMA program, measuring and evaluating its effectiveness, and providing accurate information to drive improvements. * Conduct induction and training on occupational safety and health for newly hired personnel. * Execute activities mapped within the SSOMA program. * Report work-related accidents and/or incidents occurring within company projects. * Train workers to develop competencies and attitudes enabling them to consistently demonstrate desired behaviors and respond appropriately under specific circumstances. * Verify workers’ use of personal protective equipment and compliance with safety regulations on projects. * Participate in investigations of work-related accidents and/or incidents. * Conduct safety, occupational health, and environmental inspections across projects. * Complete SSOMA management documentation prior to commencement of daily activities. * Document observations and corrective actions arising from inspections, reports, and audits. * Implement planned activities within the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management System. ***CONDITIONS:*** * Salary negotiable. * Full statutory benefits package (13th-month bonus, vacation pay, ESSALUD, CTS, family allowance, profit-sharing, etc.). * Timely salary payments.
