Job Description The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supervising and supporting the company's accounting and tax processes, ensuring the reliability of financial information, compliance with current accounting and tax regulations, as well as the proper preparation and review of financial statements. Main Responsibilities Supervise the recording and processing of the company's accounting transactions. Control compliance with accounting policies and internal procedures. Supervise monthly and annual financial closing. Review and validate prepared Financial Statements. Supervise compliance with tax obligations. Verify consistency between accounting information and tax returns. Coordinate responses to internal and external audits. Supervise the accounting team's work. Validate financial reports prior to submission to Management. Requirements Minimum Academic Qualification Certified Public Accountant. Experience 4 to 8 years of experience in corporate accounting. Experience in financial closings and preparation of financial statements. Experience supervising or coordinating accounting teams. Experience in business environments with comprehensive accounting processes. Technical Knowledge International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Proficiency in the General Corporate Accounting Plan (PCGE). Peruvian tax legislation. Preparation and analysis of financial statements. Proficiency in accounting systems or ERP software. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills. Competencies Accounting and financial analysis capability. Leadership and team supervision. Organization and planning of financial closing.
