This is our way of developing mining—always adapting to change with committed, inspired, and continuously growing professionals. **Join Nexa and become part of the mining that moves with the world!** **\#WomenTalentInMining** **Responsibilities and Attributes** * Lead the design and execution of laboratory, pilot, and industrial-scale tests aimed at optimizing crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, filtration, and effluent treatment processes. * Coordinate and supervise specific research projects, ensuring the technical quality of results. * Analyze metallurgical and statistical data, proposing improvements based on predictive models and mass balances. * Prepare technical reports and result presentations for discussion with the research manager and operational areas. * Provide technical guidance to interns, ensuring their professional development and the quality of their deliverables. * Manage relationships with external suppliers and laboratories to ensure proper execution of contracted tests. * Actively participate in scouting new technologies and evaluating inputs to improve existing processes. * Collaborate in project budget planning, ensuring accurate estimation of resources and timelines. * Conduct site visits to operational units for data collection and execution of industrial tests. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in mineral processing concentrator plants, preferably polymetallic (copper, zinc, lead). * Experience in laboratory testing and pilot-scale metallurgical process trials. * Solid knowledge of metallurgical balances, statistical analysis, and specialized software (Minitab, LIMN, JKSimMet, others). * Availability for frequent travel to mining sites. * Desirable: experience in geometallurgy and reagent testing. * Desirable: knowledge of Project Management practices. **Additional Information** * Willingness to make recurring trips to mining operations: Cerro Lindo and El Porvenir At NEXA, we work in a diverse environment where people feel free to be themselves.
