We are seeking a Service Coordinator to coordinate and manage service team activities in the field and at the service center, ensuring the efficient execution of equipment maintenance, repair, and installation jobs. This role has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the operational efficiency of the Andean region, ensuring organized, safe management aligned with Alfa Laval's quality standards. Key Responsibilities* Plan and coordinate requirements and tasks for field and service center activities within the region. * Supervise adherence to execution schedules, ensuring activities proceed according to plan. * Serve as the operational contact point between customers, service engineers, and internal departments. * Manage resources, tools, and materials required for proper service execution. * Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in every intervention. * Maintain detailed records and ensure timely and documented closure of each service. * Follow up on additional actions and opportunities identified in service engineer reports. * Coordinate with Team Managers to prioritize jobs based on their criticality. * Support the preparation of complex or non-standard quotations in collaboration with the service sales team. * Ensure order portfolio control and credit inquiry processing within established deadlines. * Administer performance agreements and manage documentation related to certifications, vaccinations, and technical team tools. Success Indicators* Schedule compliance: percentage of services executed within planned timeframes. * Quality and safety: zero incidents and full compliance with audit standards. * Customer satisfaction: post-service survey results achieving 90% levels. * Resource management: optimization of tool, time, and personnel utilization. * Service closure: services properly closed and within defined deadlines. * Commercial and administrative management: adherence to quotation timelines and portfolio control. * Continuous improvement: implementation of optimization opportunities identified in reports or Lean initiatives. Ideal Candidate Profile* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks. * Effective communication and collaborative work skills. * Service orientation and commitment to quality standards. * Ability to coordinate multiple requests and resolve operational issues. Technical Knowledge:* Advanced proficiency in Office 365. * Familiarity with service or asset management software. * Knowledge of industrial safety protocols, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. * Ability to interpret technical documentation for industrial equipment. Required Experience:* Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service coordination, maintenance, or operational planning. * Experience in industrial equipment maintenance and vendor management. Education:* Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Languages:* Intermediate English (ability to read technical documentation, respond to emails, and participate in basic meetings).
