Maintenance Assistant

Position Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant with experience in general and commercial/retail premises maintenance to perform preventive and corrective tasks, support fault diagnosis, and coordinate with suppliers. Coordination with suppliers and schedule tracking Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles such as Maintenance Assistant or general maintenance functions. Academic Qualification: Completed technical program in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance. Experience in commercial/retail premises maintenance. Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and risk prevention. Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. Power BI and Power Apps proficiency (desirable). Basic English proficiency. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on facilities (e.g., basic electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry, etc.). Support inspection and diagnosis of equipment and infrastructure failures. Respond to and track maintenance requests reported by store locations. Develop dashboards and performance reports for the maintenance department. Conduct periodic inspections to identify maintenance needs. Keep maintenance databases and systems (e.g., PAM) up to date. Coordinate external supplier activities for maintenance work and technical services. Verify compliance with established maintenance schedules. Maintain order and control of tools and work materials. Record completed activities and report incidents to the relevant department. Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
