POSITION PURPOSE To provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers by promoting the Skechers brand and its products through personalized and professional service. The Part-Time Sales Associate is responsible for achieving established sales targets while maintaining the standards of quality, visual presentation, and customer service that define the brand. (*The working hours of the part-time sales associate will depend on the country where they perform their duties*)**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** **A. SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE** * Achieve or exceed the team's monthly sales targets * Provide personalized advice on Skechers footwear features, benefits, and uses * Identify each customer's specific needs to recommend suitable products * Handle sales objections and close transactions effectively * Process cash, credit/debit card, and other authorized payment methods * Manage exchanges, returns, and warranties according to established policies * Maintain professional and courteous communication with all customers **B. STORE OPERATIONS** * Receive, verify, and organize new merchandise according to established protocols * Label, price mark, and code products in accordance with corporate standards * Keep inventory organized and conduct periodic counts when required * Pack and wrap customer purchases securely and presentably **C. MERCHANDISING AND VISUAL PRESENTATION** * Implement and maintain the brand’s visual presentation standards * Organize products according to planograms and established marketing guidelines * Ensure that windows and displays are always attractive and orderly * Replenish products on shelves and racks in a timely manner * Verify that promotional signage is up-to-date and properly placed **D. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING** * Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on shelves, counters, tables, and floors * Carry out established opening and closing store routines according to checklist * Keep work areas organized and free of obstructions * Report any damage or maintenance needs to supervisors * Ensure the store is prepared for the next day of operation **E. COMPLIANCE AND POLICIES** * Strictly adhere to all corporate policies and procedures * Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business information * Comply with corporate values and the business code of ethics * Participate in scheduled trainings and workshops * Report incidents or irregular situations to immediate supervision **IV. JOB REQUIREMENTS** **A. EDUCATION** * **Minimum:** Completed secondary education * **Desirable:** Technical studies in sales, marketing, or related fields **B. EXPERIENCE** * **Minimum:** 6 months of experience in retail sales or customer service * **Desirable:** Previous experience in footwear or fashion retail **C. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES** * Basic knowledge of sales and customer service techniques * Proficiency with POS systems and point-of-sale equipment * Basic math skills for handling cash and calculations * Knowledge of footwear products (materials, sizes, care)
