Job Summary: We are seeking a Cashier/Sales associate to perform cashier duties and advise on and close sales of construction products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Advise and guide customers through the product selection and purchasing process 2. Perform cash register opening, reconciliation, and closing 3. Operate POS systems and process payments via various payment methods We are MAVEGSA, a company with over 47 years of experience importing and distributing dry construction materials; we currently operate 10 stores in Metropolitan Lima. We are seeking a CASHIER \- SALES ASSOCIATE Responsibilities: * Perform cash register opening, reconciliation, and closing. * Process payments (cash, credit cards, and other payment methods). * Operate POS systems. * Advise, recommend, and ensure closing of sales for our products directly at the counter. * Guide customers through the selection and purchase process for all our products. Requirements: * Experience: 6 to 12 months in similar roles within the retail sector (e.g., Sodimac, Maestro, Promart). * Education: Completed secondary education and/or short technical program * Schedule: Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday: 7:20 AM to 1:15 PM We Offer: * Compensation: Market-competitive salary – Monthly payments * Enrollment in the General Employment Regime (100% bonuses, 100% CTS, profit-sharing, and 30 days of vacation). * Positive work environment Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site employment
