**POSITION PURPOSE** The Accounting Associate (AAS) provides essential support to the Accounting Services Team by efficiently and accurately performing fundamental accounting tasks. Plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, utilizing cloud computing technology to streamline processes and ensure efficiency, including documentation and maintenance. Their contributions are essential to maintaining high-quality accounting services, contributing to the efficient flow of accounting operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and reliable service delivery. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The AAS has key responsibilities in the following areas: **Accounting and Bookkeeping** * Process invoices and payments for accounts payable, including expense coding * Manage billing and tracking of accounts receivable, including accounts receivable aging reports (AR aging) * Perform other basic accounting tasks * Complete bank reconciliations * Assist in maintaining accounting team and client filing systems and records **Customer and Project Support** * Identify significant risks and escalate appropriately, or provide recommended solutions * Contribute ideas to improve processes and customer satisfaction * Assist with ad hoc deliverables **QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus * Interested and committed to being part of positive change in the world; brings eagerness to learn and develop new skills * Must be bilingual or multilingual, able to speak Spanish/Portuguese along with English * Interest and experience with accounting systems and related applications (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) * Ability to prioritize well and easily shift and reorient as urgent tasks arise * Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English), including the ability to be direct and clear; if not already excellent, possesses the drive to improve * Strong analytical skills * Creative problem solving, strong collaboration, and willingness to work as a team to improve customer outcomes Job Types: Full\-time, Contract Pay: S/.1,500\.00 \- S/.1,900\.00 per month Work Location: Remote
