The project is a key strategic initiative aimed at ensuring the long\-term environmental and operational sustainability of the mine. ##### **Your Impact** You will lead and coordinate Business Readiness activities to ensure the successful transition of the Water Treatment Plant project from construction to full operational readiness. Your work will ensure the plant starts up safely, efficiently, and aligned with Newmont’s environmental and operational standards. ##### **As a part of our team, you will** You will represent the technical team on site, working closely with engineering, construction, operations, commissioning and environmental groups, as well as with contractors and consultants. You’ll oversee readiness planning, risk assessments, and post\-implementation reviews to guarantee that systems, documentation, and people are fully prepared for plant handover and operation. ##### **What you need to succeed** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline). * Solid experience in large\-scale industrial or mining projects, ideally within water treatment or process plants (ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, or HDS). * Strong understanding of commissioning and start\-up processes. * Operational Readiness experience * Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. ##### **Your Work Environment** * You must be able to work at the mine site under a 14\-days\-on / 7\-days\-off roster, during daytime shifts. When performing office\-based activities, the schedule may be adjusted as needed to meet the role’s responsibilities. * Good health and physical condition are essential, as the work takes place at an altitude between 3,000 and 4,000 meters above sea level. * You are also expected to be available to travel and provide support at other company locations, both nationally and internationally. * You will operate in a challenging and highly complex project environment, interacting with internal teams and external consultants. The role requires visible leadership, strategic decision\-making, and the ability to drive results in dynamic construction and operational settings. * 12\-month fixed\-term contract, with potential extension depending on project requirements.
