Additionally, we have a specialized unit for currency exchange, offering reliable and efficient financial solutions. **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Alternate Compliance Officer committed to ethics, transparency, and regulatory compliance, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and legality of the company's accounting and operational information. The role involves coordinating with both the external accounting firm and external Compliance advisors, ensuring adherence to prevention regulations outlined in our compliance manual. **Main Responsibilities** * Report and coordinate monthly business operations with external Compliance advisors. * Ensure the company's regulatory and accounting compliance according to current legislation and internal policies. * Supervise and reconcile sales department accounts. * Ensure traceability and transparency of all commercial transactions. * Prepare accounting information in an orderly manner and within appropriate timeframes to be submitted to the Accounting Firm we work with. **Requirements** * Professional degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics (preferred, not mandatory; other specialties may apply). * Recent courses or certifications in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) – MANDATORY. * Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience. * Prior experience in Compliance area (preferred). * Desirable experience in internal audit or risk management. * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel or similar tools. * Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and high ethical standards. * Commitment to transparency, responsibility, and continuous improvement. * IMPORTANT: must have a good personality and the ability to foster and maintain a positive work environment with all staff. **Working Conditions** * Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., rotating Saturdays. * Salary: PEN 4,500 (gross). * Work mode: On-site. * Location: Miraflores, Lima, Peru. * Benefits: Formal employment from day one, with all statutory benefits. * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. * Trial period: 2 months (as per law). **Apply now** If you are passionate about regulatory compliance and financial transparency, and wish to become part of a solid and growing company, send us your CV and join SunMetals.
