Company Description \-Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation, one of the world's largest copper deposits, located in the Moquegua region in southern Peru. Job Description \-At Anglo American we are seeking an Operational Infrastructure Superintendent IM. This role will serve as the interface with operational areas; developing a strategy for implementing the IM service model with stakeholders through solution analysis; service and risk management. Additionally, it will coordinate and lead industrial implementations enabling achievement of service levels agreed with business areas. **Main Responsibilities** * Serve as the primary liaison between operational areas and the Quellaveco Peru IM team * Serve as the primary liaison between the Operational Infrastructure \- IM Quellaveco Peru area and Regional and Global OT teams. * Establish relationships with appropriate stakeholders and develop a governance model for the service model. * Define and design the strategy for monitoring and controlling priority 1 and 2 incidents (Incident Management). * Ensure that industrial IM services are conducted according to operational and service level agreements, following Anglo American's operational standards. * Effectively develop, maintain and execute operational objectives, organizing associated activities, sequence, dependencies, effort, duration and resource requirements. * Identify opportunities for improvement in services provided by IM, and propose initiatives. * Escalate complex queries to the appropriate regional or global support. * Jointly develop with the global team and operational areas performance reports for IM services. * Monitor IM vendors and contractors to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and expectations regarding resource management and occupational safety. * Ensure change management processes are correctly executed for any new infrastructure or local-level changes. * Develop and implement improvements in operational technology and enterprise applications. * Ensure efficiency and reliability of systems and applications. * Identify and mitigate technological risks. * Coordinate with other departments to align technology and applications with company objectives. **SHE Responsibilities** * Know and apply Anglo American Quellaveco's values, principles and SHE Policy, contributing to its zero harm vision. * Comply with and enforce legal requirements and other commitments assumed by Anglo American Quellaveco, internal Management System standards, procedures and regulations, as well as training meetings, awareness sessions and Zero Harm culture development. * Manage resources to ensure implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System, as well as control of SHE hazards and risks. * Ensure identification and control of SHE hazards and risks associated with activities and changes occurring within their work area. * Promote continuous improvement in Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Management. **Qualifications \-Academic Background and Knowledge** * University degree, licensed and registered, in systems engineering, computer science, electronics, telecommunications or related fields. * Extensive and solid knowledge of industrial networks in plants and mines. * Desirable: Postgraduate studies in IM and service management disciplines. * Mandatory driver's license (A\-1\). * Intermediate English level (desirable but not mandatory). **Professional Experience** * Minimum 10 years of experience managing technology services related to concentrator plants and mine fleet management. * At least 5 years in senior leadership roles within large-scale mining. * Experience in bidding processes, contract management and high-performance team leadership. **SHE Competencies** * Knowledge and experience in Safety, Health and Environment Management, considering current legal regulations applicable to the mining sector. * Knowledge and experience in incident investigation. * Knowledge and experience in identifying SHE hazards and risks and proposing effective controls. **Additional Information \-About the Role** * Location: Quellaveco * Work schedule: 5x2 (Monday to Thursday onsite, Friday remote) * Contract type: Permanent * Reports to: Information Management (IM) Manager **Next Step** If you proceed to the next stage, you will receive an email from us inviting you to complete your first assessment on our HireVue platform and a data form via MS Forms.
