We are looking for a Buyer \& Allocator at Skechers Peru with experience leading purchasing, inventory planning, and assortment optimization processes in mid-to-large-scale retail companies. We seek an analytical, business-focused professional capable of coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with regional and international teams to drive category growth and profitability.**Responsibilities:** * Analyze commercial and market data to define seasonal purchasing strategies, considering historical sales, trends, competition, pricing, materials, assortment, SKUs, purchase depth, and store- and region-level performance. * Plan and execute catalog and assortment purchases, validating purchase curves, replenishments, pricing, commercial calendars, and corporate guidelines. * Manage and issue purchase orders, continuously tracking their fulfillment and product arrival dates. * Monitor the progress of commercial campaigns and coordinate with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Customer Service, USA Production, and Planning to implement necessary adjustments arising from changes in product arrival dates or availability. * Manage product distribution and replenishment across all store formats, coordinating loading priorities, store openings, commercial campaigns, and supply fulfillment. * Continuously analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and product turnover to define actions optimizing category performance. * Design and implement commercial strategies such as promotions, activations, price changes, stock redistribution, and assortment optimization. * Manage inventory holistically, identifying opportunities for replenishment, stock release, inter-store transfers, and optimization of available inventory. * Develop store clustering and assortment segmentation strategies aligned with the commercial profile and behavior of each market. * Prepare management reports, commercial analyses, and KPIs for performance tracking and decision-making. * Lead performance analysis of assigned categories, proposing action plans aimed at achieving commercial and financial objectives. * Coordinate development of catalogs, support materials, infographics, and promotional items (Give Away) for each season. * Actively participate in store training sessions and periodic field visits to identify commercial opportunities and gather relevant business insights. * Conduct ongoing market benchmarking, monitoring trends, pricing, promotions, and competitors’ strategies. * Maintain continuous coordination with Planning, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Operations, Architecture, Customer Service, Logistics, Wholesale, and regional teams to ensure proper execution of the commercial strategy. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields. * Preferred specialization or coursework in Purchasing, Retail, Commercial Management, or Inventory Management. **Experience** * Minimum **5 years of experience** as a Purchaser/Buyer in mid-to-large-scale retail companies. * Experience in seasonal purchasing planning, category management, inventory management, replenishment, and commercial analysis. * Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (Planning, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics). * Experience coordinating with regional and international teams. * Advanced Excel, Advanced PowerPoint, and Power BI (preferred). * **Intermediate-to-advanced English (mandatory), with ability to conduct meetings, coordinate projects, and communicate effectively with U.S.-based teams.** * Willingness to travel. * Valid visa (preferred). * Proficiency in commercial and retail KPIs (Sell In, Sell Out, GM%, turnover, coverage, weeks of inventory, sell-through, etc.). **About Skechers** Skechers, a global Fortune 500® company, designs and markets a wide range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.
