We invite you to join our team as the new **Senior Solar Project Engineer** for the **Lupi** project and become part of a greener future. **Job Description** -------------------------- As a member of the Project Delivery New Renewables International team, the Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing the design of a photovoltaic (PV) plant in southern Peru, managing engineering processes during pre-construction and construction phases to ensure successful project delivery. * Develop and optimize solar plant designs during development and construction stages. * Manage detailed engineering carried out by external consultants or contractors. * Conduct technical site visits and assessments. * Review technical documentation from contractors, suppliers, and advisors. * Ensure compliance with Statkraft's technical specifications and local regulations. * Analyze deficiencies and propose technical solutions. * Evaluate technical proposals and define project constraints. * Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation throughout construction. * Estimate energy production and analyze uncertainties. * Perform preliminary electrical sizing and single-line diagrams. * Analyze and develop preliminary measurements. * Contribute to cost analysis and technical specifications for tenders. * Participate in expert technical groups and development of internal tools. * Coordinate with external consultants and contractors. * Ensure integration of health and safety requirements in all design and execution phases. * Identify CAPEX optimization opportunities and contribute to project profitability goals. **Requirements** -------------- **Education:** * University degree in electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, industrial, energy engineering, physics, or another relevant technical discipline. **Experience / Knowledge:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and construction of photovoltaic solar power plants. * Experience with AutoCAD and PVSyst. * Knowledge of Peruvian design codes and regulations. * Fluency in Spanish and English. **Leadership Skills:** The ideal candidate is proactive, highly self-driven, with strong analytical and technical skills, and capable of independently planning and organizing tasks. Must be able to collaborate with local and international teams, and demonstrate a solid focus on quality, standardization, and continuous improvement.
