Key Competencies and Knowledge: Installation and infrastructure preparation: handling NAP enclosures, cable splicing, splice closure sealing, and fiber optic conduit routing. Fiber splicing and fusion: advanced use of fusion splicers to ensure low signal loss in the network. Measurement and diagnostics: experience operating equipment such as OTDR, Power Meter, and fault locators for identifying breaks, attenuation, and verifying optical links. Corrective and preventive maintenance on backbone and distribution networks. Interpretation of blueprints and fiber routes for external plant infrastructure deployment. Knowledge of safety protocols for working at heights and in outdoor environments. Personal Skills: Ability to work under pressure and in field conditions.
