





**POSITION MISSION:** Supervise and monitor project progress against the master plan and baseline, analyzing forecasts, reviewing performance, costs, histograms, schedules, and scheduling logic, in order to ensure the quality of reporting generated on the status of each project. **FUNCTIONS:** * Control compliance with the execution plan, monitoring scope, cost changes, and schedule adjustments, managing contingency usage and change management for each assigned project. * Monitor and track project progress against the master plan and baseline by analyzing forecasts, reviewing performance metrics, histograms, schedules, and scheduling logic. * Follow up on cost and schedule estimates for budget preparation and change reviews. * Monitor contractual service management and procurement activities, providing support to responsible departments and participating in stakeholder meetings. * Manage payment certifications by reviewing cost structures and supporting documentation provided. * Monthly management of accounting costs in SAP (provisions, reversals, charges, re\-allocations) in coordination with the fixed assets team. * Prepare reporting for each assigned project; milestones, schedules, costs, progress curves, cost flow, key events, concerns, photos, comments, etc.. * Cost control and follow-up at all stages: budget commitment, incurred cost, earned value, forecast to complete, and forecast at completion. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper megaproject. Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine that a Chinese company has executed and developed from the beginning overseas. It is located in the district of Morococha, Yauli province, Junín department, and over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day.
