Job Summary: ACCIONA is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of the Quality Management System in airport projects, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead quality management in airport construction projects. 2. Implement and supervise the Quality Management System. 3. They are responsible for managing and communicating sustainability both internally within the organization and externally to shareholders, investors, and service/product consumers. Activities include: raising organizational awareness of the importance of sustainability; preparing reports required by the company and stakeholders; communicating and promoting the organization’s sustainability initiatives to consumers; planning sustainability and environmental strategies and developing indicators to monitor them; reporting on corporate progress and predefined indicators; engaging with stakeholders to communicate and implement further actions toward achieving organizational sustainability. **Candidate Requirements** ### **ACCIONA, within its Construction Business Line, requires a QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER to participate in a tender process for the Landside Construction of an airport located in the Southern Sierra region.** ### **REQUIREMENTS** ### **Academic Qualifications:** * ### **University graduate holding a degree in Engineering (any discipline).** * ### **Professional Registration and Licensing: Currently registered and licensed with the corresponding Peruvian College of Engineers.** * ### **Language: Fluent English or Spanish (for candidates whose native language is neither Spanish nor English, valid language proficiency documentation must be provided to demonstrate communication capability. Acceptable documentation includes: an advanced-level language certificate in Spanish or English issued by a recognized language center).** ### **Experience:** * ### **General experience: Minimum 7 years since graduation or issuance of the corresponding diploma.** * ### **3 years of experience in similar projects as Quality Control Manager, Quality Manager, and/or Quality Specialist and/or equivalent positions.** * ### **Experience in similar projects, i.e., airport projects.** ### **Location:** * ### **Willingness and ability to reside and work in Cusco City for the duration of the project.** ### **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * ### **Implement, supervise, and maintain the Project’s Quality Management System in accordance with applicable standards and technical specifications.** * ### **Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) as well as execution procedures submitted by contractors.** * ### **Conduct periodic inspections of works and critical activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.** * ### **Coordinate and document non-conformities, define corrective actions, and verify their timely closure.** * ### **Supervise laboratory and field testing, ensuring traceability of materials and test results.** * ### **Coordinate with engineering, construction, and safety departments to integrate quality requirements across all project phases.** * ### **Prepare periodic quality performance reports and maintain up-to-date documentary control records.** ACCIONA has received the Top Employer certification for 2024 and 2025.
