Job Description \-At Anglo American, we are seeking a Health and Emergency Response Manager. **Scope and Responsibilities** * This management role focuses on governance and standardization of health and emergency response. * Facilitates the implementation of the Health and Emergency Response Strategy aligned with Quellaveco’s needs and the Operation's Health and Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and national regulations to effectively and efficiently meet current and future plans and objectives. Works collaboratively with the Operation's Safety, Health and Emergency Response team responsible for the HSE Plan. * Ability to monitor corporate health indicators (absenteeism, psychosocial risk, chronic diseases, emergency response preparedness). * Define measures to achieve zero harm in terms of occupational diseases. * Design and promote mental health and employee wellness programs. * Positively impact workers' quality of life and health profile within the health framework. * Define mechanisms for verification and continuous improvement of the operation's emergency plans. * The strategy must promote operational continuity, business sustainability, and continuous improvement, collaborating with senior executives and functional areas to strengthen the health and emergency response management culture within the business. * Work collaboratively with Anglo American's specialist community health team, promoting partnerships with third parties for the effective implementation of initiatives that improve health conditions in Moquegua communities. **Main Responsibilities** * Collaborate to identify and promote the implementation of best practices in occupational health, hygiene, and operational wellbeing. * Provide expert advice in defining the business's Safety and Emergency Response strategy, including policies, standards, and goals. * Lead strategic management of health and emergency response risks across various operational areas and any related opportunities. * Verify alignment of the strategy with Anglo American's hygiene, health, and emergency response standards. * Work collaboratively with the Group's technical Health and Emergency Response team and other key stakeholders within the appropriate governance framework. * Collaborate with the Operation's Health team in the development and control of budgets. * Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Occupational Health systems. * Lead the inclusion of innovation and digitalization initiatives in health and emergency response improvement plans. * Establish performance reporting mechanisms for the operation's health and emergency response. * Capacity to influence without direct authority (cross-functional role). * Review and promote the implementation of necessary improvements and control programs to ensure timely and high-quality medical treatment of emergencies across all operations. * Design and implement a comprehensive Health program for employees, including personalized health and wellness plans. * Design and guide the implementation of best practices in alcohol and drug screening and confirmation processes, as well as collaborate with People and Organization and other stakeholders in the implementation and monitoring of treatment and rehabilitation programs. * Conduct performance audits and advisory visits regarding occupational health and emergency response standards/regulations in the operation, monitoring compliance with agreed action plans. * Identify and implement improvement opportunities for more efficient use of resources to deliver high-quality care to employees. * Ensure compliance with legal obligations related to health and emergency response by the Operation.
