We are currently seeking top talent to fill the position of **PEXT External Plant Design and Engineering Coordinator** **Position Description** We are looking for a **PEXT External Plant Design and Engineering Coordinator** to lead the development and validation of optical fiber designs in telecommunications projects. The role involves supervising contractors, reviewing drawings, and ensuring technical standards in accordance with Claro's engineering guidelines. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop, review, and approve optical fiber designs (CAD drawings, PDF and KMZ files, descriptive reports, photographic reports). * Lead and supervise external design teams, validating field surveys and deliverable quality. * Use GIS platforms to export and validate technical data according to Claro's standards. * Review and validate OTDR tests and ensure network design integrity. * Supervise construction drawings and As Built documentation in compliance with technical standards and local authorities. * Monitor design progress and adherence to project schedules. * Manage technical documentation on internal platforms and prepare progress reports. * Develop technical proposals and budgets, promoting operational improvements. * Manage technical files (FUIIT, PROVIAS) and coordinate permits with relevant authorities. * Provide technical support to construction and maintenance departments. * Digitize records and update network geospatial information. **Requirements** * Degree or bachelor's in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics or related fields. * Minimum of **2 years** of experience in optical fiber network design for telecommunications operators. * **2 years of experience as a design or engineering coordinator**. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** (essential). * Knowledge of **GIS platforms** (preferably with experience in Claro systems). * Familiarity with **project management methodologies (PMI)**. * Leadership, teamwork, analytical, and results-oriented skills. **We Offer** * Join a leading company in the telecommunications sector. * Professional and dynamic environment focused on technological innovation. * Opportunities for development and growth.
