Lara consulting, a leading mining project consultancy firm, is currently seeking an Intermediate-Level Structural Civil Engineer. **Responsibilities:** **1\. Structural design:** \- Perform structural design of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations for mining works (industrial structures, platforms, supports, etc.). \- Prepare calculation reports, technical specifications, and structural drawings. **2\. Field engineering:** \- Understand and promptly respond to RFIs and redline markups generated during mining infrastructure construction. **3\. Interdisciplinary coordination:** \- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical disciplines to integrate structural design into the overall project. **4\. Documentation management:** \- Participate in the technical review of drawings and documents produced by third parties. \- Record and track technical comments and observations. **5\. Compliance with codes and standards:** \- Ensure adherence to internal client or project standards as well as engineering best practices. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or professional title in Civil Engineering. * Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Structural Civil Engineer, including at least 2 years in the mining industry or related fields. **Knowledge and skills:** * Familiarity with international technical standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC) and Peruvian technical standards (NTP). * Proficiency in software such as: CSI SAP 2000, CSI SAFE, ROBOT STRUCTURAL, CIVIL 3D, OFFICE. * Knowledge of BIM tools and document management systems is desirable. * Willingness to travel or work under shift regimes (e.g., 5x2, 14x7, etc.).
