At **UNITELEC** we are seeking a licensed and qualified **Occupational Health and Safety Professional or Engineer** to join our high-voltage construction and installation projects. The professional will be responsible for leading Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA) on site, ensuring compliance with current legal regulations, client standards, and incident prevention, guaranteeing personnel safety and operational continuity. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan, implement, and supervise the project's Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA) plan. * Ensure compliance with Law No. 29783, its regulations, RESSESATE, and applicable sector regulations. * Develop and update IPERC matrices, PETS, and PETAR in coordination with operational departments. * Lead field inspections, safety audits, and workforce training (5-minute talks, training sessions). * Coordinate with the Site Manager and the client’s supervision team to ensure execution aligned with safety and environmental standards. * Manage incident and accident investigations, proposing corrective and preventive actions. * Prepare technical reports, safety statistics, and SSOMA progress reports for management and the client. * Administer emergency response plans, contingency plans, and medical surveillance programs. * Comply with and enforce company and client policies and regulations. **Requirements:** * **Electrical, Environmental, Industrial Engineer** or related field. (Mandatory) * Licensed and registered with the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú (or equivalent institution if foreign, and authorized to practice in Peru). * Minimum of 5 years (five years) of professional experience in total. * **Availability to travel to provinces** during project execution. * Specific experience having participated in at least three (03\) similar projects (construction, electromechanical installation, or energy sector projects) as a Safety and/or Environmental Engineer.
