RIGGER - PLANT SHUTDOWN

Description

Job Summary: Technical professional with lifting experience, responsible for operating equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations on projects. Key Highlights: 1. Lifting operations conducted in compliance with safety regulations and equipment capacity 2. Knowledge of cargo rigging techniques and lifting signals (ASME-B30.5) 3. Teamwork, effective communication, and proactivity in continuous improvement * Perform lifting operations on the project, respecting equipment capacities and established safety regulations. * Identify and assess risks in the work area, applying established procedures and standards. * Know and apply cargo rigging techniques using slings, shackles, and shackles, considering load capacities, specifications, and characteristics. * Properly secure the work area and remove unauthorized personnel from the activity zone. * Safeguard and protect company assets assigned to support the successful performance of duties (radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, rigging gear, vehicles, etc.). * Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Comply with work standards specified in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **EDUCATION:** * Technical personnel qualified for lifting activities. * Documented competency from courses and/or certifications obtained at previous employers. **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum of 3 years of certified experience in industrial, mining, construction, civil works, installation, lifting, maintenance shutdowns, and related sectors. **AVAILABILITY:** * Willingness to work under a 14-day-on/7-day-off schedule or other special or alternative work arrangements, as required by operational needs. * Willingness to travel throughout the country. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of lifting signals based on ASME\-B30\.5\ standard. * Extensive knowledge of lifting operations. * Ability to work effectively in teams. * Effective communication skills. * Proactive attitude and positive mindset aligned with continuous improvement.
