Field facilitation of psychosocial activities** * Directly implement group activities with girls, boys, and adolescents at the Tumbes PAO, following project methodologies. * Promote safe, inclusive, and participatory spaces that foster psychosocial well-being. * Facilitate orientation sessions with adult caregivers, including messages on child protection, positive parenting, PSEA, and access to services. * Encourage active participation of participants, adapting activities according to age, gender, diversity, and mobility status. * Identify potential protection cases and refer them timely according to protocols. **2\. Support in logistical organization and use of materials** * Ensure proper preparation of spaces and materials required for each activity. * Care for and maintain materials used in psychosocial activities and in the child-friendly space. * Support the organization of participant groups and manage the flow of people within the PAO during activities. * Collaborate with the field team in identifying logistical needs and reporting incidents or relevant operational situations. **3\. Activity recording and monitoring** * Accurately and promptly complete attendance lists, feedback forms, surveys, and other instruments defined by the project team together with MEAL. * Use digital tools such as Kobo for data registration, following confidentiality and data security protocols. * Support the implementation of child-friendly feedback mechanisms for children and their caregivers. * Participate in review and improvement sessions of activities with the technical team. **4\. Participation in trainings and capacity building** * Attend and actively participate in induction processes, ongoing training, and mentoring on topics such as child protection, MHPSS, PSEA, gender approach, and project methodologies. * Apply acquired knowledge to improve the quality of implemented activities and ensure safe environments for participants. **5\. Team collaboration and institutional compliance** * Maintain respectful, fluid, and collaborative communication with the Child Protection Officer and other field team members. * Comply with IRC Safeguarding Policy and humanitarian principles, promoting protective environments for children at all times. * Contribute to a positive team environment and support other operational or programmatic tasks as project needs arise. **6\. Other related duties** * Provide support in strategic activities with other IRC projects, coordinated with supervision. * Participate in technical missions, needs assessments, workshops, or events promoted by IRC or partners. * Contribute to the efficient functioning of the team and operational office, adhering to principles of integrity, humanitarian ethics, and collective care. **Work Requirements:** ***Education and experience:*** * Technical or university education in progress or completed in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields. * Minimum of one year of experience working with girls, boys, and adolescents, preferably in community, educational, or humanitarian settings. * Experience or skills in children's animation, playful, recreational, and artistic activities with children or adolescents. * Knowledge of child protection, emotional well-being, and gender approach. * Desirable prior experience working with adult caregivers (parents, mothers, or guardians). * Proficiency with digital tools for data recording (platforms such as Kobo, Excel, etc.). * Fluency in Spanish, spoken and written. ***Skills*** * Ability to communicate effectively and build empathy with children, adolescents, and their families. * Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate on various tasks within the team. * Skill in motivating participation, guiding groups, and adapting activity content to different ages and contexts. * Responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to humanitarian principles and child protection. * Ability to follow instructions, provide feedback, and continuously learn. * Respect for diversity and sensitivity toward people in situations of human mobility or vulnerability.
