




Advanced Middleware Specialist **Mission** Ensure the operation, performance, and evolution of middleware platforms that integrate the business's critical systems. The Advanced Middleware Specialist will be responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of integration and messaging environments enabling interoperability between on\-premise and on\-cloud applications, guaranteeing availability, security, and efficiency. **Responsibilities:** * Administration and maintenance of infrastructure supporting the middleware layer: OCP, Oracle Service Bus, Api Connect, Data Power, MQ, among others. * Monitor the health and performance of middleware environments, ensuring 24x7 availability. * Design, implement, and document messaging and integration flows between internal and external applications. * Manage incidents, problems, and changes under the ITIL framework, including coordination with development, integration, security, and functional teams. * Manage digital certificates, encryption, and authentication/security policies in middleware environments. * Automate deployment, monitoring, and backup tasks using scripts or CI/CD tools. * Participate in technological modernization projects and adoption of middleware in containers or hybrid cloud (e.g., OpenShift, Azure Integration Services). * Propose and lead improvements in performance, architecture, and integration processes. * Ensure up\-to\-date documentation of installed infrastructure, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures, as well as maintain an updated inventory. * Participate in and comply with audit and cybersecurity regulations. * Manage contracts and vendors, as well as supervise the proper execution of SLAs defined with internal teams and providers. * Justify to business units new requirements or renewals of technology infrastructure contracts. **Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years administering or designing middleware solutions in mission\-critical environments. * Experience in administration of OCP, Oracle Service Bus, Api Connect, Data Power, MQ, among others. * Knowledge in administration of physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper\-V, OVM, KVM). * Experience with operating systems (Linux RHEL, Unix, Windows Server). * Basic knowledge of AIX and Solaris. * Experience with monitoring platforms (Zabbix, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana). * Basic knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, PowerShell). * Basic networking knowledge. * Basic knowledge of security (NIST framework) and audits. * Knowledge of frameworks and best practices such as ITIL v4 and Kanban. * Basic knowledge of Power BI. * Experience in incident and problem management (ITSM management). * Intermediate level English proficiency. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Certifications in IBM Middleware, Red Hat, Oracle, MuleSoft, or Kafka. * Experience with service\-oriented architectures (SOA) and event\-driven architectures (EDA). * Knowledge of hybrid clouds and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). * Participation in digital transformation or integration modernization projects. **Intermediate\-advanced technical English** **Competencies:** * Leadership and team management * Problem solving * Crisis management and decision making under pressure * Critical thinking * Effective communication * Results orientation * Time management and prioritization * Collaborative work and adaptability
