**Important Information** Location: Peru Work Mode: Hybrid **Job Summary** As a ***Senior QA Engineer (18428\)***, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance activities, defining test strategies, designing test cases, executing validations, and ensuring that released products meet the company's technical and functional standards. You will play a key role in early defect detection, test automation, and continuous improvement of the quality process. **Responsibilities and Functions** * Define test strategies for new developments and enhancements. * Design, execute, and document functional, regression, and exploratory test cases. * Automate tests using specialized frameworks and tools. * Identify, report, and track defects in coordination with development teams. * Validate integrations, services, and end\-to\-end flows. * Work with test management and tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, or others). * Participate in agile ceremonies and provide support in QA effort estimation. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and delivery pipeline. **Requirements and Skills** * Graduates in computer science, engineering, or related fields with \+5 years of experience in QA. * Experience in **designing and executing test plans and test cases.** * Solid knowledge in **functional, regression, and integration testing.** * Experience in automation using tools such as **Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or others.** * Knowledge of **APIs, testing with Postman or similar tools.** * Familiarity with **SQL** for data validation. * Experience using **agile tools such as Jira.** * Soft skills: clear communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. **About Encora** Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner for some of the world’s leading companies and digital-native businesses.
