Participate in Project Refinement: Refine, support Shapers and Product Owners in defining project scope; resolve issues and technical impediments during refinement; estimate effort required for MVP delivery according to guidelines set by SDA and CEA. 2. Participate in Project Onboarding: Receive project scope handover from Shapers; participate in planning activities for the quarter; contribute to defining and recording commitments for each MVP to be developed during the quarter. 3. Lead projects transversally: Manage local multi-disciplinary projects; propose technical solutions within specific domains considering different approaches; solve technical issues related to development, performance, stability, among others. 4. Manage work teams: Conduct and lead meetings with local teams; identify key project activities and coordinate their execution; facilitate cross-team communication; promote BBVA principles and values within the team. 5. Develop Projects: Prepare required functional and technical documentation; build software components according to established development standards and security policies; prepare and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements; ensure compliance with internal guidelines within the team. 6. Provide post-production support for deployed developments: Ensure end-to-end functionality of implemented solutions; coordinate and execute handover plans for implemented solutions to the responsible team (Reliability). 7. Share and promote knowledge: Train team members on technical and/or functional topics; participate in Communities of Practice and/or NetWorks; engage in training and knowledge-sharing programs implemented at the bank; create manuals or guides for implemented solutions to share with other teams. 8. Comply with agile framework in project development: Participate in ceremonies defined within the agile archetype assigned to the project; implement agile practices and artifacts throughout project development. 9. Guide the team under the agile framework: Promote Agile principles and values within the team; assist in resolving blockers and dependencies; support the development of technical skills and soft skills among team members. **REQUIREMENTS** Academic Background Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or related fields. Required Experience * Proven experience as Manager or Technical Leader in DevOps, Development Platforms, or Software Engineering areas. * Experience leading at least one large-scale migration to GitHub Enterprise/Advanced Security (ideally in organizations with over 500 developers). * In-depth knowledge of GitHub as a platform: repositories, GitHub Actions, security, branch policies, token/secret management, permissions, automations, API integrations. * Advanced mastery of GitHub Copilot and Copilot for Business: technical understanding of its operation, organizational adoption strategies, configuration, monitoring, and impact metrics. * Experience in platform transformations: designing and implementing adoption plans, training, change management strategy, technical governance, and stakeholder management. ### **Key Technical Skills** * Expert-level Git and GitHub (beyond usage, including governance and automation). * GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS): code scanning, dependabot, secret scanning, code scanning. * Integrating GitHub with CI/CD, testing, and security platforms. * Automation and scripting (Python, Shell, YAML, GitHub APIs). * Knowledge of GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps. ### **Management and Leadership Skills** * Strategic vision to align GitHub adoption with bank objectives in productivity, efficiency, security, and developer experience. * Cross-functional leadership with influence over developers, tech leads, and governance teams across multiple domains. * Ability to effectively manage change, lead trainings, design adoption materials, and execute scalable deployment plans. * Focus on impact through continuous measurement of progress using indicators such as Copilot usage, productivity, and code quality. * Strong communication skills with executive levels, architecture, security, and technology departments to ensure aligned and sustainable integration. **Desirable** * Certifications in GitHub Administration, DevOps, or Cloud. * Experience leading technological transformations in the financial sector. **Responsible Banking** --------------------- Our responsible banking model **aims to achieve a more inclusive and sustainable society.** Because the future of finance is financing the future.
