Mission or objective: Coordinate and execute instrumentation in the blasting process, complying with quality and safety standards, and ensuring the acquisition of reliable data that will be processed and used as information by the team. * Film blasts, monitor vibrations, and measure fragmentation resulting from blasts in areas of interest using equipment such as drones, high-speed cameras, seismographs, among others, to report on the fulfillment of contract KPIs. * Manage the database and maintain control of measurements in the systems corresponding to the operation to ensure all information is available for analysis, audits, or reporting. * Prepare daily blasting reports, monthly reports, and other documents required by the client to ensure compliance with established contractual commitments. * Generate reports quantifying the impact on KPIs due to incidents in the blasting process, identifying findings detected, to communicate them to the service manager/technical representative so immediate actions can be taken. * Keep the inventory of equipment (seismograph, microtrap, drone, and consumables) updated to report availability, calibration status, maintenance, and other aspects. * Perform quality control of blasting agents and explosive mixtures in the laboratory according to the product's technical sheet to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications. * Validate that samples taken by floor operators of the densities of explosive mixtures during the loading process are within the parameters specified in the technical sheet. * Measure and verify that the detonation velocity (VOD) of the explosive is within the specifications stated in the technical sheet. Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining. * At least 1 year of experience in the blasting area. * Graduate Engineer in Mining Engineering or related fields. * Professional registration desirable. * Desirable knowledge in rock blasting design and execution, data science and programming (Power BI), proficiency in PowerApps. * Intermediate knowledge: specialized blasting software (Blastware, Microtrap, Thor, JK Simblast, Paradigm, DAS, OptiBlast), English language. * Advanced knowledge: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience in management processes and continuous improvement. * Class A1 driver's license with at least two years of validity.
