Our team in Peru is growing, and we are currently seeking an **Intermediate Instrumentation and Control Engineer** to join our Minerals & Metals business unit for the Zafranal Project (Lima). **Requirements:** * Experience: 7 years in Industrial Control and Automation. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Control or related fields. * Technical knowledge: + Industrial instrumentation for mining environments. + Process control systems and SCADA systems (DCS, PLC, RTU). + Industrial communication protocols: Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, HART, OPC. + Design and configuration of industrial networks in redundant architectures. * Additional skills: + Proficiency with engineering design software (AutoCAD, SmartPlant). + Network equipment: managed switches, industrial routers, media converters, industrial firewalls. + Use of AI tools. * Language: Intermediate to advanced level of English. * Availability to travel or work on-site as required. **Responsibilities:** * Design and specify instruments for measuring process variables and control valves. * Develop loop diagrams, instrument lists, data sheets, specifications and technical documentation. * Coordinate and supervise FAT, CAT and SAT tests to verify control loops and communication with PLC/DCS. * Ensure compatibility and communication of instruments using industrial protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus PA). * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the integration of automation and control systems. * Provide technical support during commissioning and optimization of instrumentation and control systems. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards: ISA, IEC, NFPA, local mining regulations.
