In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture, and fishing, forming part of the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** * Comply with HSE programs and procedures (inspections, trainings, meetings, etc.) * Participate in and supervise the determination and implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions arising from inspections, internal and external audits, or incident investigations conducted by SGS or the client (those without an On-Site Safety Coordinator). * Coordinate technical, operational, and quality activities with the Laboratory Manager, Assistant, or responsible person in charge. * Calculate, review, and analyze results issued by analysts and/or preparers, where applicable. * Maintain or improve the laboratory's productivity levels by developing and supporting corresponding studies to the Laboratory Manager. * Ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment and maintain control over measuring instruments. * Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions in situations leading to unsatisfactory services. * Support in the design and validation of analysis methods, where applicable. * Supervise work at each stage of daily production activities and programs. * Perform analyses and other duties assigned related to the position. * Report and validate data and information obtained from result evaluations, where applicable. * Prepare reports for the elaboration of Test Reports, where applicable. * Supervise sampling, mechanical sample preparation process, Plant, and Dispatch. * Implement and maintain the quality assurance and control system. * Prepare weekly and/or monthly production reports, manage consumption of reagents and materials, which will be sent via email to the Technical Management of the mine administration (according to the mining unit). * Supervise storage of samples and duplicate samples, as well as their return. (according to the Train and evaluate personnel on quality, safety, and environmental issues. * Monitor maintenance and calibration programs for equipment. (for those without an On-Site Quality Coordinator). * Verify routine quality controls (checklists, equipment and environmental verification records) performed in the areas. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering. * Two years of experience in wet and dry processes, and instrumentation. * Practical knowledge required: Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques. * Minimum of three years of experience in the field. * Personnel management experience. * Soft skills. **Additional Information** * Payroll inclusion from the first day. * Life insurance as per law. * EPS premium covered at 80%. * Constant training opportunities. * Corporate agreements.
