* Schedule: Work schedule and regime I. POSITION STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE Support and assist in drilling activities by operating and controlling equipment, materials, and tools related to the activity. II. REQUIREMENTS Education Level - Completed secondary education III. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions. Basic knowledge of the functioning and operation of drilling equipment such as pumps, compressors, and heavy machinery used in the process. Know and apply workplace safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and identification and mitigation of risks. Basic knowledge in mixing drilling additives. Knowledge in handling drilling pipes. Knowledge in installing geotechnical instrumentation in drilling wells. IV. JOB FUNCTIONS Functions and responsibilities Verify that drilling tools are in optimal condition and perform cleaning or routine maintenance tasks. Follow the described procedure. Inspect tools to ensure they are in good working condition before starting work. Responsible for mixing drilling muds. Responsible for handling drilling pipes throughout the drilling process. Perform runs of diamond core samples extracted from the drilling well. Complete management forms prior to starting daily activities, and report incidents to the immediate supervisor.
