Our team in Peru is growing, and we are currently recruiting a **Planning Control Engineer, Senior** to join our Minerals \& Metals business line for the Zafranal Project **About the role:** * Establish and maintain the project schedule, including creating multi-level schedules in Primavera P6, resource and/or quantity loaded schedules to determine appropriate staffing levels, acceleration. * Determine the appropriate level of detail for schedules used in projects, studies, and bids. * Ensure the project schedule aligns with the project scope, project WBS, and project delivery/execution strategy. * Determine and establish the primary critical path method and others. * Ensure the critical path reflects the project execution strategy. * Monitor and report progress and provide updated schedules periodically, including resource histograms, key performance indicators, progress curves, comparisons between current and baseline status, impact on the critical path (float analysis). * Identify and apply mitigation strategies for schedule deviations. * Establish and maintain the project schedule for all work elements. * Ensure activities are updated accurately and periodically as specified in the Project Control Plan. * Establish the project baseline schedule ensuring alignment with project scope, project WBS, and delivery/execution strategy. * Ensure measurement of earned value (EV), schedule performance index (SPI), and planned versus earned progress. Incorporate scope changes and trends into project schedules and re-baseline to reflect the current project scope. “Hypothetical scenario planning for extension requests”. * **About you** * Graduated and licensed Engineering professionals. * 10 \- 15 years of prior work experience in project control and/or related positions. * Experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) and/or Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). * Knowledge of different types of contracts and limited contractual obligations. * Experience in cost control, planning/scheduling, forecasting, progress measurement, monthly reporting, and preparation within an engineering and project-related environment. * Proficiency in Primavera software. * Experience with project control software such as Ecosys, ERP, and Oracle. * Advanced English (will be assessed during the process). **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
