At **El Olivar Grill**, a foodservice company specializing in rotisserie chicken, grilled dishes, and various gastronomic products, we are expanding and looking to welcome a **MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – REFRIGERATION** to our team to help maintain our equipment in optimal condition and guarantee smooth operations. **POSITION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – REFRIGERATION** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment. * Inspect and repair refrigerators, freezers, cold rooms, chillers, and display cases. * Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures. * Inspect compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, sensors, and controls. * Monitor and regulate equipment temperatures. * Clean condensers, evaporators, and other components. * Detect and repair refrigerant leaks. * Perform refrigerant charging or recovery as required. * Inspect electrical connections and control components. * Document all maintenance and repair activities. * Respond to equipment failures and emergencies across our various locations. * Comply with safety regulations and good work practices. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Graduate or certified technician in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Electromechanics, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience performing maintenance on refrigeration equipment. * Preferred experience in restaurants, rotisseries, supermarkets, hotels, or other foodservice businesses. * Knowledge of commercial refrigeration, refrigeration and freezing systems, and electricity applied to refrigeration. * Experience in diagnosing and resolving failures. * Proficiency in using refrigeration tools and equipment. * Knowledge of leak detection, welding, and refrigerant handling. * Availability to respond to emergencies and perform work at our various locations. * Responsible, organized, proactive individual capable of working under pressure. * Problem-solving orientation and commitment to completing assigned tasks. ⭐ **PREFERRED:** Experience working with cold rooms, freezers, refrigerated worktables, chillers, display cases, and ice machines.
