VyP ICE, a Peruvian contracting company with over 25 years of commitment to the development of the country's major mining companies, is currently seeking a "***Supervisor SSOMA***" for UM SAN RAFAEL in PUNO: Requirements and Responsibilities: \- Professional degree and professional license in Safety Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related mechanical fields. \- Minimum desirable experience of 3 to 4 years in similar positions. \- Specialization studies in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment, \- Availability to work under an atypical 28x14 schedule. \- Ensure compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental policies. \- Keep updated documentation for hazard identification and risk assessment. \- Implement control and monitoring systems for activities, such as planned inspections, unplanned inspections, 5-minute safety talks, and safety meetings. \- Verify compliance with emergency response team equipment inspections. \- Request and supervise the delivery of personal protective equipment (PPE) to personnel assigned to operations. \- Halt or prevent the start of any work until conditions posing risks to personnel safety are corrected.
