### **About the Role** We are looking for a SDET / QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript\-based test automation). This role involves working closely with development teams to improve software quality, ensure test coverage, and optimize testing frameworks. ### **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain **test automation frameworks** using **Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript\-based test automation)** * Design, write, and execute **test scripts** for functional, regression, and performance testing. * Conduct both **manual and automated testing** for web and API\-based applications. * Identify, document, and track **bugs and defects** using tools like **JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr**. * Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into **CI/CD pipelines**. * Perform **API testing** using **Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools**. * Validate **database interactions** using **SQL queries** to ensure data integrity. * Work in an **Agile/Scrum** environment, actively participating in sprint planning and stand\-up meetings. * Continuously enhance and optimize **test automation strategies and frameworks**. * Provide technical guidance on best testing practices to development teams. ### **Requirements:** * **Experience** in **QA automation and software testing**. * Experience in **writing and executing test scripts in Java/Javascript** for automated and manual testing. * Hands\-on experience with **Cypress test automation (JavaScript/TypeScript\-based test automation)** * Proficiency in **API testing** using **Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools**. * Solid understanding of **CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)**. * Experience with **SQL queries** for data validation and backend testing. * Familiarity with **version control (Git)** for test script management. * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills. * **English Level: B1 high or above \- Mandatory**. .### **Desirable Skills:** * Knowledge of **containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)** for test environments. * Familiarity with **cloud\-based testing solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)**. ### **Desirable Certifications:** * **ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL)** – International Software Testing Qualifications Board. * **Certified Selenium Tester (CST)** – ISTQB or equivalent. * **Certified Software Test Automation Engineer (CSTAE)** – QAI Global Institute. ### **What’s in it for you:** * Private medical and life insurance from day one. * Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP). * Budget for professional growth (certifications, training). * Schedule flexibility and work\-life balance. * Extra performance\-based bonuses.
