This role focuses on automating, deploying, monitoring, and optimizing large\-scale data engineering pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with data engineers and platform teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of critical data systems in the cloud. If you're passionate about DevOps, automation, and data reliability at scale, this is the role for you. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Manage pipelines for data engineering code deployments * Automate deployment, monitoring, and testing of infrastructure * Manage containerized environments for data applications * Site Reliability Engineering: alert / monitoring, * Manage cloud resources and optimize cost and performance * Enforce security best practices for data storage and movement * Develop automation scripts for operational tasks * Ensure high availability and backup / disaster recovery * Create dashboards for infrastructure and application metrics **Technology requirements:** * CICD, Git/Github actions, Terraform / Pulumi * Stack trace, dynatrace, grafana * Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm * Supported data\-driven application technologies: pyspark, python, data proc, cloud function, java, composer with Postgres and Big Query **Experience:** * 3\+ years of DevOps experience with data\-intensive applications * Experience with large\-scale data processing (TB/PB scale) * Background in data engineering or analytics platforms **What’s in it for you?*** Educational support: Udemy for Business * "Work\-life balance" culture and flexible schedule * Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) * Support global projects in a multicultural environment
