**About the Role** The Software Developer Engineer in Test is responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks for various technical solutions. This role involves executing both manual and automated test cases, setting up and managing test environments to ensure accurate and reliable testing, and creating detailed test cases based on use cases, user stories, non\-functional requirements, and design documents. The individual will contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation and performance testing frameworks by writing and executing tests, developing comprehensive documentation for automated processes, and logging and documenting bugs in the tracking system. They will also determine test scenario priorities, create execution plans to address critical features and work closely with the engineering team to enhance application functions through automation. **Requirements:** * 4\-5 Years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in QA * 3\-4 years of strong automation experience. For both engineers the skill set is as follows: * Strong QA mentality \- Customer focused, ability to construct technically strong test plans, ability to deep\-dive \& perform highly technical troubleshooting. Prior testing experience is a must. * Proficiency with API testing \- Previous proven experience with testing APIs (in specific REST APIs) both manually as well as via automation. * Strong experience \& proficiency with Python automation * Proficiency in using API testing tools such as Postman, Version control tools such as Git, as well as automation frameworks such as Robot Framework. * Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles and experience integrating test automation into CI/CD workflows. * Strong understanding of automated testing principles and design practices. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. **Nice to have:** * AWS knowledge is a great to have * Prior exposure to Javascript * Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g. K6\). * Experience with test management tools like JIRA **What’s in it for you:** * Private medical and life insurance from day one * Employee Stock purchase plan ESPP * Budget for professional growth (certifications) * Schedule flexibility. * Extra bonus based on performance. * Wellness program: Free Monthly Psychologist and nutritionist
