In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture and fishing, being part of the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** * Achieve safety, health and environmental goals and indicators, aiming to ensure that activities are carried out safely. * Conduct monthly safety, health and environment meetings with different departments and contractors, ensuring alignment with SSMA policies and legal regulations. * Deliver training and instruction on safety, health and environment (defensive driving, working at heights, confined spaces, SSMA tools, among others), so personnel understand the risks of their tasks and are prepared to mitigate them. * Conduct emergency drills to prepare staff to respond appropriately in similar situations. * Carry out SSMA awareness campaigns to help personnel understand potential risk impacts and threats to personal integrity. * Perform SSMA inspections in assigned areas to identify improvement opportunities within the management system. * Conduct internal SSMA audits across all departments to verify compliance with all management tools. * Review and validate IPERC matrices (hazard and risk identification forms) to effectively communicate risks to workers and ensure their alignment. * Respond to emergencies involving hazardous materials. * Ensure compliance with general SSMA induction for both new and existing personnel. * Verify compliance with the APR tool (preliminary risk analysis). * Comply with SGS's Internal Work Regulations, Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. * Apply established Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental regulations, identifying and reporting potential risks to one’s own safety and health, participating in activities and trainings, contributing proactively with colleagues and leaders to ensure safe and healthy work execution. **Requirements** * Graduate and currently licensed professional in Safety Engineering, Mining or related fields. Must be registered and qualified, with proven experience of more than 3 years performing duties related to safety and environment in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks. * 5 years of experience in the Construction, Energy and Mining sectors. * 3 years of experience in supervisory roles related to Safety and/or Environment in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance tasks. * Desired knowledge in Integrated Management of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management in Mining Units (indicators, KPIs, etc.), applicable legislation regarding Occupational Safety and Health, ISO 14001, 9001:2018, ISO 45001:2018, OHSAS 18001 and equivalent Peruvian Technical Standards, Risk Analysis methodology and environmental impact identification, Waste Management and Disposal Programs or Emergency Response. **Additional Information** * Enrollment on payroll from day one. * Life insurance as per law. * Bi-weekly payments. * EPS health insurance covered at 80%. * Ongoing training. * Corporate agreements.
