As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, we are seeking an Import Operations Assistant to join our team. **Main Responsibilities** *Import Commercial Release Process* * Guide clients and/or customs agents through their commercial release. * Thoroughly review files sent by CS. * Verify that the system contains a valid power of attorney before commercial release. * Check HBL instructions and coordinate with CS if necessary. * Manage RL endorsements when required. * Generate release letters in the system for approval and/or corresponding endorsement. * Endorse documents (HBL/HAWB). * Perform releases on the respective DT platforms. * Coordinate with involved operators for commercial release management (port operators, ports, DTs). * Update, maintain, and verify that the system is up to date (events and documents correctly digitized in the system). * Track shipments pending release, notify and report them weekly. * Verify and maintain updates and interfaces with ROLOG regarding Release. *Support Activities* * Tracking of SLI spot and/or SLI shipments. * Other support activities within the area. *Administrative / Management Tasks* * Know, maintain, and support improvements in procedures, work instructions, and other documents governing their activities. * Keep records organized, legible, and accessible. * Know, maintain, and support improvements in procedures, work instructions, and other documents governing their activities. * Other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager. **Requirements** * Technical or Engineering degree in Foreign Trade or related field. * 1 year of experience in similar roles. * Intermediate level of English. * Intermediate level of Excel. **Competencies** * **Accuracy and Attention to Detail**: Ability to handle tasks accurately and meet deadlines. * **Organization and Time Management**: Capacity to plan and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring efficient workflow. * **Effective Communication**: Ability to communicate clearly, ensuring information is understood and inquiries are addressed. * **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze data and solve problems efficiently. * **Customer Orientation**: Proactive approach to meeting customer needs, ensuring high-quality service. * **Learning Speed**: Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.
