We are seeking a Control and Automation Engineer for Electrical Substations. **You will make an impact by:** * Translating functional system concepts into projects, delivering detailed, high-value technical solutions for customers. * Designing the system down to the level of detail required to meet the customer’s specific requirements. * Defining the products, components, and subsystems to be used, along with their specific characteristics and selection criteria. * Configuring components and subsystems according to project requirements, ensuring correct operation. * Developing detailed integration solutions that ensure all elements interact as a coherent functional unit. * Being responsible for implementing the system with the required functionality and preparing the corresponding design documentation. * Coordinating project execution units (manufacturing, procurement, logistics, etc.) when necessary. * Configuring Level 1 and Level 2 control systems for high-voltage electrical substations, including SIPROTEC 4 and 5 relays/controllers and RTUs (TM1703, AK3, A800\). * Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) on developed control and automation systems. * Actively participating in commissioning of supervision and automation systems in high-voltage electrical substations. **We are looking for individuals who:** * Hold a professional degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields. * Have at least 5 years of experience in control systems for power substations or related areas aligned with the responsibilities described. * Are proficient in configuring SIPROTEC 4 and 5 relays and controllers (Siemens’ substation protection and control platform). * Have experience configuring data concentrators and RTUs: TM1703, AK3, and A800\. * Possess solid knowledge of communication network architectures and topologies applied to substations. * Are proficient in industrial communication protocols: IEC 61850, IEEE C37\.118, IEC 60870\-5\-101/104, ICCP, and DNP 3\.0 (TCP/IP and Serial). * Have experience with communication equipment such as switches, routers, terminal servers, media converters, and Ruggedcom–Siemens branded equipment. * Are familiar with time synchronization protocols: IRIG\-B, PTPF, IEEE 1588, NSNTP, and SNTP. * Possess knowledge of cybersecurity applied to industrial automation and control systems. * Have experience with solutions involving process buses and process state management. * Are proficient with Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Access, and Visio. * Have intermediate English proficiency (mandatory). * Are available for domestic and international travel (mandatory). * Demonstrate key competencies in execution, decision-making, customer orientation, and driving change. * Have a genuine interest in developing expertise in supervision and automation systems within the energy sector (electrical substations and power generation plants). * Desirable: Current professional registration and license. * Desirable: Familiarity with relays, controllers, and RTUs from other manufacturers. * Desirable: Experience conducting FAT/SAT tests on developed systems. **We offer you:** * A diverse and inclusive culture where every perspective is valued. * Access to over 1\.000 professional learning and development courses. * Work-life balance that supports your personal and professional growth. * A collaborative work environment focused on innovation and cutting-edge technology.
