




Junior Chef: SABINA is a restobar in Barranco - Lima that celebrates Andean culture and individual empowerment, blending tradition and modernity in its cocktails, aesthetics, and atmosphere. We are looking for a Junior Chef. Requirements: * Technical or university studies in Gastronomy or related fields, in final cycles or completed (desirable). * Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook or trainee in restaurants or restobars. * Knowledge of Peruvian, Andean, and contemporary fusion cuisine. * Proper handling of cooking techniques, plating, and food manipulation. * Knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations. * Technical or university studies in Gastronomy (currently enrolled or recently graduated). * Basic mastery of cooking techniques, mise en place, handling, and plating. * Responsibility, cleanliness, organization, and genuine desire to learn. Responsibilities: * Prepare and cook dishes following SABINA's recipes and standards. * Monitor cooking times and dish presentation before service. * Comply with food safety, hygiene, and preservation protocols. * Report incidents or shortages to the head chef. * Participate in mise en place, assembly, and dish delivery, maintaining pace and coordination with the team. * Verify quality, freshness, and preservation of ingredients before and during service. * Maintain smooth communication with cold kitchen, hot kitchen, and bar areas to ensure service harmony. * Commit to the ritualistic essence of SABINA's culinary work: cooking with respect, connection, and meaning.
