To learn more about us and our culture, visit our website: https://www.lasbambas.com/es **WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU FACE?** Coordinate the permits and authorizations required for mining exploration and exploitation activities, supervising and tracking cross-functional processes from field data collection to engineering reviews, in accordance with applicable Environmental Management Instruments (FTA, EIAsd, EIA, MEIA, ITS, DÍA, closure plans, updates, and commitment matrices). Likewise, ensure timely execution and obtain approvals for permits required by Minera Las Bambas operations, including sectoral authorizations, citizen participation processes, and other necessary permits for mining activities. **HOW WILL YOU CREATE VALUE FROM YOUR ROLE?** * Coordinate and review with consultants the development of IGAs (EIA, MEIA, EIAsd, ITS, DIAs, Closure Plans, Updates, Commitment Matrix), based on terms of reference, ensuring compliance with current environmental regulations. * Coordinate the implementation of citizen participation across all stages of each IGA, working with social performance and community relations teams to develop citizen participation plans. * Coordinate the bidding process for selecting strategic partners according to project workflow requirements, collaborating with Supply and Contracts teams to meet the needs for developing an IGA. * Supervise the preparation of compliance matrices for permits and licenses obtained from strategic partners, through reviewing and coordinating engineering development, ensuring operational readiness. * Prepare environmental permits, supported by specialized contractors, for evaluation of biological disciplines before Serfor, Produce, Sernanp; and archaeological studies before the Ministry of Culture. * Supervise the execution of environmental monitoring activities (Physical and Biological), as well as Social monitoring, coordinated with specialized contractors, to establish baseline conditions for various IGAs. * Supervise the preparation of prior communications, review water management at Las Bambas, and assess consistency in mining operations. * Manage the preparation of Technical Studies required for sectoral permits. * Supervise and review permit application files according to legal requirements. **\#WEAREHIRINGYOURTALENT** * Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Biology, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related fields. * Desired specialization in mining exploration and exploitation permits, environmental compensation. * Desirable postgraduate degree in Environmental Management. * 10 years of experience in similar roles or positions. * Intermediate level in MS Office. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of Quechua (desirable) * Knowledge of: + Mining exploration and exploitation activities in Peru. + Citizen participation and prior consultation processes. + Mining Environmental Legislation. + Biological and ecological aspects. + Environmental management, monitoring and compensation programs. + Processes for developing conceptual, pre-feasibility and feasibility engineering of mining components. **\#WeProduceCopperWeProduceTalent** **Advertised:** 07 Oct 2025 SA Pacific Standard Time **Applications close:** 17 Oct 2025 SA Pacific Standard Time
