Adaptability to high-altitude work and camp conditions **Logistics Administrator – Mining Operations** **Position Objective:** Plan, coordinate, and supervise logistics activities in mining operations, ensuring the timely supply of materials, equipment, and services, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing operational continuity. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment for mining operations. * Coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution at camp or mining unit. * Supervise inventory and warehouse control (minimum stock, turnover, valuation). * Negotiate with suppliers and manage purchase orders. * Control logistics costs and prepare management reports. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and internal regulatory policies. * Coordinate with departments such as operations, maintenance, procurement, and finance. * Manage logistics contracts (transportation, catering, fuel, etc.). **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. * Minimum 3–5 years of logistics experience in mining or similar sectors. * Knowledge of warehouse management, supply chain, and transportation. * Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or others). * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. * Availability to work under rotating shift schedules (14x7, 20x10, 21x7\). **Technical Knowledge:** * Knowledge of management and control of drilling accessories (bits, rods, couplings, hammers), including wear identification, service life, and timely replacement. * Knowledge of technical specifications according to rock type and mining operation. * Inventory control and turnover management of critical accessories. * Proper storage practices to prevent deterioration and losses. **Competencies:** * Planning and organization * Leadership and teamwork * Analytical ability and decision-making * Results orientation * Adaptability to high-altitude work and camp conditions **Conditions:** * Work at mining unit (camp). * Atypical work schedule. * Statutory benefits \+ meals, accommodation, and transportation provided.
