Job Summary: We are seeking a Communications and Electrical Lineman Technician to construct and implement aerial and/or underground FTTH networks, including optical fiber cable laying and installation of network accessories. Key Responsibilities: 1. Construction and implementation of aerial and/or underground FTTH networks. 2. Optical fiber cable laying and installation of hardware, poles, and service drops. 3. Use of ladders, work at heights, and blueprint reading. Profile – Communications and Electrical Lineman Technician / FTTH Fiber Optic Network Construction Position Objective: Execute FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network construction activities. Main Responsibilities: · Construction and implementation of aerial and/or underground FTTH networks. · Optical fiber cable laying. · Installation of hardware, poles, and service drops. · Use of ladders and work at heights. · Reading and interpretation of network blueprints and diagrams. · Installation of CTOs, NAP boxes, and network accessories. · Compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE. · Reporting progress and closing out tasks. Requirements: · Minimum 1 year of experience in FTTH network construction. · Technical education in electrical engineering or telecommunications is preferred. · Knowledge of optical fiber cable laying and handling. · Experience working at heights. · Proficiency with network construction tools and equipment. · Experience in optical fiber splicing is preferred. · Willingness to travel to Brazil and/or work on-site. · Responsibility and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications: · Basic knowledge of OTDR and Power Meter measurements.
