**Candidate Profile:** **Education:** Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in QA/QC for petroleum laboratories and/or crude oil oversight (Semi-Senior level). **Technical Knowledge:** Solid understanding of ASTM standards and oversight equipment (tapes, rulers, plumb bobs). Experience with entities in the petroleum sector or regulatory bodies (Desirable). Specialization in hydrocarbon QA/QC or operational balancing (Desirable). **Key Challenges:** **Technical Supervision:** Ensure proper sample collection and testing execution in accordance with ASTM standards (API, BS&W, salt, viscosity, TAN, sulfur). **Field Oversight:** Represent the company in crude oil oversight activities, stock determination, and validation of daily balances. **Laboratory Control:** Verify equipment and instrument functionality, calibration, and handling, as well as manage inventory of chemical reagents (IQPF Reports). **Regulatory Compliance:** Implement the QA/QC Work Plan and coordinate corrective actions in response to operational deviations.
