Deco Hogar E.I.R.L. – Jiapeng is a growing commercial–industrial company engaged in the importation, assembly, and distribution of motorcycles, cargo tricycles, outboard motors, and spare parts. We operate across multiple cities nationwide, maintain business relationships with international suppliers, and have an expanding distribution network.
Job Description
**What does this role involve?**
We seek an **Import Analyst** responsible for providing analytical, documentary, and operational support to the company’s foreign trade management, ensuring timely shipment tracking, accurate document review, and traceability of import operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct end-to-end tracking of international purchase orders and shipments in coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
* Review, organize, and validate import-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills (BL/AWB), certificates, DAMs, and other required documents.
* Coordinate and monitor import and nationalization procedures with relevant logistics and customs operators.
* Record, update, and manage shipment information—including costs, dates, process status, and observations—in departmental tracking spreadsheets or systems.
* Support scheduling of imported goods intake by coordinating with Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations teams for receipt and product availability.
* Verify that documentary information matches purchase orders, quotations, and terms agreed upon with suppliers.
* Assist in monitoring and analyzing import-related costs, such as freight, insurance, duties, customs fees, and other charges associated with the process.
* Prepare reports and comparative dashboards on import status, identifying delays, incidents, cost overruns, or risks.
* Coordinate responses to observations, discrepancies, claims, or adjustments arising from the import process.
* Maintain the department’s physical and digital filing system up to date and well-organized.
**Requirements:**
* Technical, bachelor’s, or professional degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
* Minimum 1–3 years of experience in import operations, foreign trade, international logistics, or similar roles.
* Knowledge of shipment tracking, import documentation, and coordination with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
* Intermediate-level Excel proficiency.
* Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, international logistics, and customs regulations is desirable.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to simultaneously manage multiple processes.
