Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering student or graduate with experience in mechanical component design and technical drawing preparation for projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Engineering design and development for industrial and mining clients 2. Preparation of detailed technical drawings with specifications 3. Planning and supervision of departmental activities REQUIREMENTS: - Mechanical Engineering students or graduates, technicians or university degree holders - Minimum 3 months of experience - Willingness to work, sense of responsibility and commitment - Certified CAD operator skills - Experience in designing for large-scale projects RESPONSIBILITIES: - Select, size and design mechanical components, choosing appropriate materials according to design requirements, costs and manufacturing processes. - Prepare required designs and engineering deliverables for clients, developed both in workshops and at mining or industrial sites of various clients. - Prepare detailed technical drawings, including dimensional specifications, tolerances and materials, to ensure accuracy in design communication. Plan departmental activities - Supervise and control proper resource utilization in projects and/or services. - Plan and organize departmental activities - Keep the Department Manager, Head of Services and Supervisor informed regarding incoming assignments, technical specifications, drawing delivery dates, and other scopes applicable to product or service delivery - Monitor and control work across its sequential stages, maintaining corresponding time tracking from initiation through completion of the production chain.
