Manage resources and coordinate with contractors for the production plan **Date:** Apr 14, 2026 **Location:** 14 \- LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are looking for an **Open-Pit Mine Manager** **– Mining Unit:** **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan production operations considering improvement alternatives. Coordinate with contractors regarding shift-change operations to establish production guidelines and timelines. * Execute production plans. Organize, evaluate, optimize, direct, and implement open-pit mining processes, taking into account cost, schedule, and quality to ensure all processes remain under your control and comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards. * Monitor execution of the production plan through management indicators and strict cost control, taking appropriate actions to achieve the operational efficiency objectives defined in the production plan. * Coordinate with geology and planning departments to develop maps (including mineral polygons with their respective grades and waste material) to ensure timely delivery of all requirements to contractors and adherence to the production plan. * Oversee execution of operations by managing internal resources and coordinating with mine contractors, establishing effective communication to facilitate all activities involved in the production plan. **Professional Profile:** * Licensed Professional in Mining Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience in open-pit mining operations. * Valid driver's license (minimum 2 years). ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any type of payment to participate in its selection processes.
