Position Summary: ELECTRICAL CAD DESIGN INTERNSHIP providing support in the preparation and updating of electrical drawings and technical documentation, while developing competencies in CAD design and basic BIM modeling. Key Highlights: 1. Development of competencies in CAD design and basic BIM modeling. 2. Support in the preparation and updating of electrical drawings. 3. Collaboration in the development of layouts and single-line diagrams. **ELECTRICAL CAD DESIGN INTERNSHIP** **POSITION OBJECTIVE** Provide support in the preparation and updating of electrical drawings and technical documentation, developing competencies in CAD design and basic BIM modeling under the supervision of the design and engineering team and in accordance with established project standards. **REQUIREMENTS** * Student in final academic cycles or technical graduate in Industrial Electricity, Industrial Electrotechnics, Technical Drawing, CAD Design, Electromechanics, or related fields **(MANDATORY)** * Basic proficiency in AutoCAD. * Basic proficiency in Revit MEP. * Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical drawings. * Basic knowledge of electrical symbols and technical drawing. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Interest in electrical design, CAD/BIM tools, and engineering project development. * Prior participation in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or electrical design courses is desirable. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Support the preparation and updating of electrical drawings under supervision. * Collaborate in the development of layouts, single-line diagrams, details, and graphical documentation. * Support basic modeling of electrical installations in Revit. * Incorporate corrections and observations into drawings as directed by the responsible designer. * Organize and maintain up-to-date project files and graphical documentation. * Support the preparation of basic quantity take-offs and material lists. * Verify basic aspects of drawing presentation, labeling, symbology, and formatting. * Provide support to the design and engineering team in CAD/BIM-related activities. **COMPETENCIES** * Continuous learning. * Attention to detail. * Documentation organization and order. * Analytical thinking. * Teamwork. * Adaptability. * Initiative and proactivity. * Responsibility and commitment.
