Continuous updating on sector technologies and regulations An engineering and construction company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems to join our Engineering and Business Development team. **Position Objective** To design, evaluate, plan, and manage technical solutions for air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems in commercial, industrial, and logistics projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and multidisciplinary integration in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform design and calculations for air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. * Prepare and approve drawings, calculation reports, and technical specifications according to applicable regulations. * Coordinate design compatibility with other disciplines. * Conduct technical estimations, quantity take-offs, and scope validation. * Evaluate technical alternatives and propose value engineering. * Review and validate in-house or third-party designs. * Provide technical support during construction execution. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector technologies, regulations, and best practices. **Requirements** * Licensed and registered Mechanical Engineer (valid CIP). * Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration system design. * Proven experience in thermal load sizing, ventilation, and equipment selection. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and Pipe Flow. * Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, NTP, and OS.090\ regulations. * Ability to interpret drawings and prepare technical documentation. **Work Modality:** Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) **Location:** Surco, Lima **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm **Contract Type:** Payroll from day one \- General Regime Salary: S/.5,000\.00 \- S/.6,500\.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Is your CIP currently active? * What types of projects have you worked on: commercial, industrial, logistics?
